At 9:00 AM we all gathered at the bridge
over the North Fork at the expressway. |

LLCC Parks & Greenspace Coordinator Rich
Sussman explains the plans for the trail. |

Sally Sears, of the South Fork Conservancy,
tells how this trail plan fits in with that of her group. |

Sally Sears is passionate about all things
riparian. |

Henry Batten studies the Master Plan map. |

Off we go on our new adventure. |

The trail is a little muddy and there are
ant mounds to be avoided. |

Jane Rawlings (LMMNA President) and Rock
Nelson (LVPCA President) get their first glimpse of the North
Fork. |

This is what we all came to see! |

Yet another view of this lovely
neighborhood amenity. |

Sally Sears admires the outcroppings. The
expressway overpass is in the background. |

Rich Sussman explains how the trail will
continue under the expressway. |

After admiring the natural beauty, we head
back to Lindbergh Drive. |
