Let's Take a Hike North Fork Meadow Loop Trail

At 9:00 AM we all gathered at the bridge over the North Fork at the expressway.

LLCC Parks & Greenspace Coordinator Rich Sussman explains the plans for the trail.

Sally Sears, of the South Fork Conservancy, tells how this trail plan fits in with that of her group.

Sally Sears is passionate about all things riparian.

Henry Batten studies the Master Plan map.

Off we go on our new adventure.

The trail is a little muddy and there are ant mounds to be avoided.

Jane Rawlings (LMMNA President) and Rock Nelson (LVPCA President) get their first glimpse of the North Fork.

This is what we all came to see!

Yet another view of this lovely neighborhood amenity.

Sally Sears admires the outcroppings. The expressway overpass is in the background.

Rich Sussman explains how the trail will continue under the expressway.

After admiring the natural beauty, we head back to Lindbergh Drive.
